TONYA GABRIEL-BRENNAGH
registered Health Psychologist


Tonya Gabriel-Brennagh is a Health Psychologist, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Family Therapist, a Psycho - Sexologist, a Family Law Medicator, and a Justice of the Peace.

Tonya is registered with APHRA as a Health Psychologist, a supervisor for Provisional Psychologists and for Supervision of Specialist registrars for Health Psychologists.
​
Tonya has supervised Provisional psychologist for more than thirty years of full registration as a psychologist and for specialist Health Psychologist registration. She continues to supervise many registered psychologists and to run a number of peer training supports for a range of professionals including Psychologists, Psychiatrists, General Practitioner, Nurses, Welfare Workers and Social Workers.

She has also supervised registered specialist Psychologists including Health Psychologists and Forensic Psychologists. She has for many decades trained Psychiatrists. Psychologists and Medical Practitioners in Clinical Hypnosis. She has also run supervision groups for this cohort as well as taken the role of Executive Examiner at one time for the Australian Society of Hypnosis.

Tonya has trained staff and students at TAFE and University. She is employed at University of Queensland to supervise Health Psychology students undertaking their Masters in Health Psychology. She has also trained Police Inspectors at the Victoria Police in mediation as a part of CAP services.
​
Tonya has completed the international training of which allows her to practice as a (ECPS) Psycho - Sexologist. This is specialist registration with the international societies EFS ESSM, ISSM.
Tonya works with all ages of adults, couples, children, and teenagers.
​
She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psycho-education, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, Family Therapy, EMDR, Exposure Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
Tonya has been in private practice in Frankston since 2004. She is passionate about the work that she does and making positive changes in people’s lives.

Tonya is a strong advocate of life long learning and she attends training and conferences all over the world. She has presented domestically for the Australian Society of Hypnosis, MPHN and internationally at conferences and workshops.
​
Tonya's current interests are working with cancer, dealing with bullying in the workplace, ADHD, dissociation, Sandplay Therapy, Eating Disorders, EFT and women's health including menopause.
Tonya is known for working with pain, WorkCover Injuries, TAC, Victims of Crime, relationships issues, and clinical hypnosis. She is also well known for working with sexual functioning and the interplay between hypnosis and sex therapy.

Tonya has been employed in EAP programs, TAFE, University, Gamblers Help, Department of Justice, The Department of Human Services.

HALLIE MARMION

Hallie Marmion is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with a Masters Degree in Professional Psychology. Hallie believes that the key to healing from emotional pain is to have the opportunity to access your own inner wisdom.
Hallie values kindness and offers experiences of being deeply listened to, together with evidenced based and lived experience informed strategies to help you achieve your desired goals.
Hallie is known for her work with children, young people and families. Hallie’s passions include: community safety, giving neurodiversity affirming care and supporting people to heal from trauma.
Hallie hold’s professional memberships with the Australian Association of Psychologist Inc (AAPI), Sexual Assault Services Victoria (SAS Vic), and is a foundational member of the League of Autistic and Affirming Peers and Colleagues (LOAPAC).
Hallie brings experience working in various public and private allied health settings. Hallie has been employed by the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Peninsula Health and The Australian Childhood Foundation.
Hallie can support with experiences of: anxiety, panic, obsessive thoughts and related compulsions, depression, self injurious behaviour, sleep difficulties, low self-esteem, perfectionism, attentional difficulties, aggression, grief and loss, chronic pain, relationship conflicts, adjustment difficulties, bullying and workplace injuries.
Hallie is trained in the following frameworks: Synergetic Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapy, Hypnosis/Solution Oriented Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
Hallie regularly invests in high-quality training and supervision. Hallie has attended professional conferences in Australia and Overseas.
Hallie has attended the Evolution of Psychotherapy Conference, The Regulated Classrooms Conference, The Australian Childhood Foundation International Conference and Berry Street Leading Change in Family Violence Conference.
